Excerpt of Constitution and Articles
Article 4
This Association is formed for the purpose of preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ as set forth in the Old and New Testament Scriptures, and promote Christian fellowship and unity in the church.
Article 5
Said Association shall have authority to ordain ministers to the full work of the ministry and to issue credentials to all ordained ministers authorizing them to do and perform all duties commonly connected with their offices as ministers.
Article 6
The Association shall have authority to issue or refuse to issue credentials based upon Christian character, and ability, after proper investigation, said credentials to be issued by the Secretary of the Association upon receipt of a proper application and approval thereof by officers of the Association, and shall become effective when signed by the Chairman and Secretary and a regular membership card issued to the applicant.
